At our annual Volunteer Appreciation luncheon, we honored the recipients of this year’s Volunteers of the Year Awards.

Our 5th Annual Walk-Run-Bike for Food Challenge raised enough funds to provide 100,000 hot school meals, allowing us to end the year on a high note.

Unsafe water is a principal cause of childhood mortality globally. Our Student Hydration Program provides clean water for children in classrooms and for food preparation in the school kitchens.

The response to obesity requires a comprehensive approach. An important part of our mission is education on the importance of proper nutrition, good hygiene, and regular exercise.

Despite Mexico’s commitment to the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, recent assessments indicate that the country is projected to miss the Zero Hunger goal by a concerning eight percent.

The cost of attending school is now more of a challenge than ever due to inflation. Our Naciones Unidas scholarships awards every Los Ricos seventh grader as they start junior high and continue through their high school graduation.

On World Food Day, October 16, 2024, Feed the Hungry San Miguel celebrated a significant milestone by recognizing, for the first time ever, the school with the best nutritional status.
